COMMUNITIES

Trilith (Pinewood Forest) — case study

Fayetteville, Georgia · 235 acres · Creative Director

A new-urbanist town built alongside one of the largest film studios in the country. I came in early and worked with the founder to establish the town's vision and mission, then translated that into design briefs for the architecture, interiors, landscape, branding, and events—and worked alongside the teams executing them as the first buildings came out of the ground.

My job was to help define what the place is for, say it clearly enough that a hundred people can build toward it, and keep it from coming apart while a hundred small decisions try to erode it.

Site plan by Lew Oliver.

THE BIGGER PROJECT

I’m working toward a network of walkable communities across a whole, intentional region, designed for flourishing.

If you own land at that scale, or want to build at that scale, I’d love to talk.

CLUSTERS

CONCEPT — IN DEVELOPMENT

A family compound, a pocket neighborhood, a boutique hotel, a retreat — a handful of buildings that have to make one place together. It's a town at its smallest, and the scale I most want to be working at right now.

I have many of these smaller-scale projects in concept stage that I can't share publicly.

HOMES

MELODY LANE — case study

Renovation · Fayetteville, Georgia · 4 acres

Ground-up plans, renovations, and additions, from single-family to multifamily. What I care about is the same at every size: a place that shelters and nourishes the people in it.
